Sausage, Egg, & Cheese Casserole

1 lb ground meat (can be turkey, venison, pork or beef)

6 eggs (can substitute 4 eggs + 3 egg whites)

1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp Stuart’s Spices Maple Sausage Seasoning. (If you prefer a spicy casserole, we love substituting our Andouille sausage seasoning)

2 Tbsp Stuart’s SpicesVegetable Flakes

1 ¾ Cup milk

1 ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 slices bread, cut into cubes

Instructions: (Preheat oven to 350°)

  1. Brown the meat in skillet, adding sausage seasoning as it cooks. Drain. 
  2. Beat together eggs, milk and vegetable flakes.
  3. Mix in bread cubes, 1 cup of cheese & sausage. Let stand 10-20 minutes. 
  4. Pour into greased casserole pan. Top with remaining ½ cup cheese.
  5. Bake 45-50 minutes until casserole has set. Remove from oven and let 

     rest about 5minutes before serving.
