Our premium quality Indonesian Lampung peppercorns have a high oil content. When our pepper is ground, the higher oil content helps retain the bold, robust pepper aroma and flavor. (And - no sneezing!) We grind our peppercorns continuously in small batches, into 5 size grinds.
Our Preferred Grind is named because, well - many people prefer it! This medium grind generally won't pour through a pepper shaker, but gives a great burst of flavor. You can always leave the pepper in our bottle, as it pours out of our bottle just fine!
