Guajillo Peppers Whole

Guajillo chile peppers, closely related to puya chiles, are a pepper native to Mexico and used in many Mexican dishes. They provide a bright, spicy flavor, but without too much heat. They tend to be slightly hotter than the Ancho or Poblano peppers, but less than Jalapeno or Chipotle, with SHU generally 2,500-5,000.
