Redmond Real Salt

Redmond Real Salt® is an unrefined and natural salt, free from any additives or chemicals, from an ancient mineral deposit deep within Utah. This deposit was left behind by a sea that covered North America in the Jurassic period; over time the water evaporated, leaving behind a vast deposit of salt in central Utah. The unique appearance of the salt originates from over 60 natural trace minerals, which are also responsible for the salt's slightly sweet and non-bitter flavor.
