Baharat is Arabic for spice. It is a mixture of finely ground spices used in Middle Eastern cuisine. Use it to season lamb, fish, chicken, vegetables, beef, and soups. Apply it as a rub prior to grilling, add it to ground meat, or mix it in to the oil before frying. It is also great in ratatouille or with eggplant. This is a salt free blend.
Our own recipe, blended with cumin, cinnamon, black pepper, cardamom, coriander, allspice, cloves, and nutmeg.
