While there are thoughts that dipping pieces of hearty Italian bread into olive oil with herbs is actually not Italian, we in the U.S. can't get enough of it! That's why here at Stuart's we decided to blend premium Italian herbs to create a smooth, full flavored Tuscan Dip Mix.
Mix all or part of the mix with Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a small shallow bowl or dish. Swipe your hearty Italian or French bread through the mixture. You can also use the mix in baked bread, on top of pizza dough with oil, or with pasta dishes.
Our own recipe, blended with red bell pepper, garlic, salt, basil, parsley, fennel, red pepper, and rosemary.
