White Pepper Ground

White Peppercorns are actually ripe, black peppercorns that have had their outer black casing removed, providing what is often described as a more subtle flavor than black peppercorns. Ground white pepper is often used when you are looking for the pepper flavor, but don't want to see any little black flecks, such as in some white gravies or sauces.
