Chicken Shawarma Pita

A scrumptious, simple weeknight recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken, breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • Stuart’s Spices Shawarma
  • Oil for cooking
  • 2-3 leaves lettuce, shredded
  • 2 mini cucumbers, sliced
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced or diced
  • 2 pita or naan
  • Tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, coat chicken generously in Shawarma seasoning and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
  2. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat and cook for 4-6 minutes on each side or until browned.
  3. Remove from skillet and let rest for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Arrange on pita with lettuce, cucumbers, tzatziki sauce, and enjoy!
