Volcanic Skillet Dinner

Heat things up at dinner time!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef, turkey or, meatless crumbles
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 boxes of your favorite macaroni and cheese
  • 1 cup Colby jack, Monterey, or sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tablespoon Stuart’s Spices Volcanic Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • optional: 1 cup breadcrumbs for top

Instructions

  1. Get a medium pot of water boiling for macaroni and cheese and preheat oven to 400°.
  2. While waiting for water to boil, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to skillet and cook meat until browned, adding 1/2 tablespoon of Volcanic while cooking.
  3. Cook mac and cheese according to package while meat is browning.
  4. Add macaroni and cheese to the meat in the skillet, then add in both bell peppers, 1/2 of the shredded cheese, and the other 1/2 tablespoon of Volcanic. Salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Layer top with the other 1/2 cup of cheese and optional breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until top is bubbly.

Tips

Veggie Tip: Substitute riced broccoli for the meat!
