Hickory Smoke Powder is used to add a little smoke flavor to your BBQ, beans, sausage, or other items cooked with a stove. This is a very concentrated seasoning, so start with a light touch. You can add more but you can't take it out. (1/8 teaspoon per lb. & season to taste). This product will clump and become hard over time but this will not hurt the performance. Dilute clumps in water or your marinade.
